Friends who will...
...stand with us as allies in our aim to be a voice for abuse survivors and our efforts to help build a society where the effects of abuse are addressed and future abuse prevented. Through lots of you singing up as S:VOX Friends, we can start saying with confidence that we represent people who really do care about these issues. It will also help us keep in touch with you about developments, issues and campaigns as well as to hear from you about your thoughts and ideas
Friends who will...
...provide hands and hearts to help us turn aspirations into action. As S:VOX develops, more and more opportunities for volunteering at various levels of the organisations life (running groups, admin, practical help at weekends, marketing, event planning, campaigning, fundraising, leaflet design etc.) will arise. If you are interested in helping, let us know what your area of skill / interest.
Friends who will...
...provide funds to get us going and keep us running. We desperately need to raise funds, among other things, to employ someone part-time to develop the national network of self-help groups. The most common things we hear from participants is "I wish there was something like this back where I live". With S:VOX's help there can be. With your help, S:VOX can make the difference by providing local people with the set-up help, training and support they need to run a local self-help group. Please consider giving a one off-donation or giving regularly by standing order.
