Just wanted to say hi - as I am new to these forums. I live in North Hertfordshire and I would like to know about any groups in this area. If not, I would like to train as a group facilitator AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!
I know Abi has replied off-list too, but just to say publicly that its great to hear your enthusiasm and after our volunteers day on Saturday we hope to be able to announce more provisional programme dates, hopefully including training.
It's great to have the opportunity to join a group who work so well together. I'm sure there will be lots to learn and lots to share in the future.
I am off to work with another survivor this week, as a continuation of the book series - it's the best use that I can make of half term! It's one of the most complex bits of writing I've ever done. Anyway, I hope this life account will help everyone along on their learning curve. Knowing a variety of backgrounds helps us to help not just ourselves, but one another.
That may sound very noble - but acually it's a real hard slog! Hmmmmmm....!!! On the other hand - I've got a really weak spot for other survivors ...I think they're fab!
Anyway, I pray that things will come together for facilitation trainings soon - maybe sometime during the school summer holidays?
Hello and welcome!
One of the moderators will contact you about anything in your area. They are planning facilitators but again they can tell you more about when the next one is!
I hope you find support and understanding here.

''Pooh!'' he whispered.
''Yes, Piglet?''
''Nothing,'' said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. ''I just wanted to be sure of you.''
