We will not sell or share any information we gather from the website to any outside organisation unless required to by court order, legal and/or statutory requirement.

Website Cookies and Persistent Tracking Technology

Although we may use Cookies or session IDs to assist your navigation, or login status, whilst you are on the site, these are temporary and are set to expire when you close your browser. However, your browser may give you the option of saving any site login passwords for you; this is a choice you must make and is beyond our control and does not affect this policy and is not covered under it.

Data Protection

All personally identifiable information divulged by you on this site (for example, should you fill in a form, or contact us via the e-mail form) is held by us and access is restricted in accordance with s:vox policies which either meet, or exceed, the statutory requirements of the Data Protection Act of 1998. What this means is that we will use your details for the purposes of communication, on the understanding that these details will not be passed on to anyone else.

Password protection Policies

Certain parts of the site may be accessible only after filling in one of these forms and creating a secure password known only to you. This is our policy for two reasons:

  • To be able to make reasonably sure that our members are protected from those with malicious intent from gathering information about others from the site.
  • To provide site members with a system with adequate safeguards when used in accordance with site recommendations.

Should any password you use to access the site be stolen, compromised or you suspect someone has guessed, or otherwise obtained it in an unauthorised manner, contact s:vox via e-mail immediately and you will be issued with instructions for re-authentication.

Abuse of Privacy policies

It is the policy of this site that any personally identifiable information of other members, or of s:vox personnel, is also private and covered by this policy. Should it come to our notice that this has been abused the site will deny access to the person(s) in breach of the policy until the matter can be resolved.

Acceptance of these Policies

Use of, or registration on, this site constitutes acceptance of the terms of this policy, in addition to others that may be posted from time to time upon the site, or communicated via e-mail or other standard communication medium, for use of the site. Please be aware that acceptance of these policies by submitting information online you are giving permission for S:VOX to store their contact details for the purposes of communication with you. Acceptance remains subject to the understanding this information will not be sold, shared or voluntarily passed on to anyone else for any reason other than to acting to conform with legal requirements imposed by duly constituted authorities in accordance with due judicial process.

The conditions of the Data Protection Act may apply.

Complaints, or notification of breach of these policies, should be sent to the site administrators here.
