Well, I don't know if it's me, but having finally remembered how to log on here again, there seems to be very little in the way of messages from anyone (and even the message I posted way back then seems to have disappeared!).
Am I failing to navigate the site properly or missing something somewhere? If so I apologise for my stupidity, but would guess that others are also experiencing similar problems!
Perhaps somebody can answer this before I proceed to my next possibly point or points......?
Personally I just also find it a big hassle having to log on here (and try to remember my password) just to see if anyone has said anything, and I'm starting to think the old Yahoo Group was massively preferable...

Hi Sal
Hi Sal
welcome to S:VOX and the forums.
Sandee

Thank you for your reply. I hope you are in reasonable health.

"Piglet! Where is the honey?"
"What honey?" (Piglets also like honey)
"Well Piglet, I hope there is still sugar in the pantry. I could do with something sweet."
"eh, well......"
Stress can can take its toll. One of my fixes is heather honey & I do like sugar lumps!
Hi Dave! Lovely to hear from
Hi Dave!
Lovely to hear from you :-)

''Pooh!'' he whispered.
''Yes, Piglet?''
''Nothing,'' said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. ''I just wanted to be sure of you.''
Welcome To S:VOX
Hello Sal & All,
Repeating Sandee's comment: Welcome Sal, I hope you find it useful chatting to the other ladies on this site. Being a male I do have difficulty with that, due to not being on the right wavelength. :-)
Like Anna I have not been visiting this site as I also find it a hassle to log on. The reason I'm on it now is that I have been talking to Jane today. The reason I was talking to Jane was that I recently received a report for a meeting I attend in Derbyshire that mentioned Jane & SVOX. Jane suggested that I request the weekly digest, so that will be my next move.
Love & Peace,
Dave The Bike
Is anyone out there?
Hello,
I could be talking to myself here as it seems the last person to say anything was Anna in December!!! Have I joined and everyone else has jumped ship? Oh well I am used to talking to myself, I am fine just rambling on. I am a survivor,I had five years of therapy (1992 to 1997)then it had to be a DIY job after that sadly, though I have done rather well, even if I do say so myself :-) I was diagnosed DID. Integration is slowly taking place which makes life easier as not so many "people" to deal with :-) we are all very friendly toward each other and others too. Hope to hear from someone soon. Bye for now. Sal
welcome
hello sal,
welcome to the forums. It's good to have you join us and I hope you find this a safe and healing place.
Well done you for doing such a good 'diy' job and look forward to getting to know you here.
I will change your permission so you can also post and read on the survivors forum, do let me know using the contact form if you want to use any of the other forums, if relevant.
Shalom,
Jane
Hi Sal, People are posting
Hi Sal,
People are posting but maybe on different boards? Check which forums you have access too. You may need to contact admin to have access to other forum sections.
It is nice to 'see' you here! Hope to get to know you more.
I hope you find this a safe space to be and gain support.

Using new forums
Hi Anna,
thanks for sticking with it, I know its a bit different than the old system, I hope it will get easier as we all get used to it!
I guess you used to post to the old forum from your email programme (like outlook) which of course doesn't require logging in.
The advantage of this site is it's a lot more secure for people who don't have safe access to personal computers, so are posting and reading via the web e.g.on a shared computer at work or home, or in the local library etc. The process was much the same for yahoo groups in that case.
With this site you are only creating a log-in for here, not the whole of yahoo groups. From what Lee tells me, its much safer here.
there's other benefits too but I won't bore you with all the details!
You can always set your profile so you get emails from the site telling you when new content has been posted. You can decide how much information you want. Go to 'my account' and click on 'notification settings' and fill in as you choose.
Look forward to your next topic!
Take care,
Jane
Hi Anna, We're here, and
Hi Anna,
We're here, and you seem to have found the site now. in the colum on the left hand side of the site is a heading 'active forum topics' under which are the titles of forums who have recently had posts. If you click on 'more' you come up with the list of the four forums which you can then access.
You do have to ask the mods to register for each forum individually, if you've not yet done this you'll only have view of a few of them.
Hope youfind your way round soon

Hi Anna,
Hi Anna,
the other site was also very silent at times and was more a reflection of peple not needed to use the space at that time. Every new venture has teething problems, and i am sure the yahoo one had them too at first.
As for your post- I think it was written within another topic, so it will be there somewhere! (edit- you post is under the topic of 'Hello@ created by Judy.. it is about 3 quarters of the way down the recent posts board... 6 wks ago it was created.. hope this helops)
Stick with it Anna- I hope this becomes a safe place for you to use.
Love Claire x
